Cookie Policy

The site uses essential browser functionality for navigation and consent storage. The consent panel lets visitors choose essential-only mode, analytics and advertising measurement separately, or accept all optional measurement.

When Google tags are configured, Alderbyte uses consent mode categories including analytics_storage, ad_storage and ad_user_data. Ad personalization remains denied. The Google tag is not loaded, and campaign attribution is not stored or sent, until the visitor grants a related choice.

Analytics helps us understand which pages and calls to action are useful. Advertising measurement may help measure enquiries from paid campaigns without treating an unconfirmed form attempt as a confirmed lead.

Browser storage used

  • alderbyte_consent_v2 is essential local storage containing the two optional consent choices. It remains until you change the choice or clear browser data.
  • alderbyte_generate_lead_recorded is an essential session flag set only after a consented lead event. It contains no contact details and prevents the same confirmation page from recording that event twice. It expires when the browser session ends.
  • alderbyte_attribution is optional session storage for permitted campaign, referrer and landing-page data. It is created only after related consent. Withdrawing one category removes fields that category allowed; choosing essential-only removes the record. It also expires when the browser session ends.
  • _ga, _ga_<measurement-id> and possible _gac_* cookies belong to Google measurement. They are allowed only after the related choice. Their production lifetime and the linked Google data-retention setting must be configured and published here before public launch.

To change your choice or withdraw consent later, use Cookie settings in the footer. Choosing essential-only mode removes stored campaign attribution and stops optional measurement.
